With more than 25 years’ experience in marketing communications, Kathryn is Crown’s fearless leader. And, there’s a reason she knows everything there is to know about Charlotte – she is a native Charlottean, a rare breed.
Kathryn started her professional career in nonprofit public relations and remains active in the community. She serves on the board of directors for the Carolina Girl Scout Foundation and the Children and Family Services Center and is a member of the Entrepreneurial Leadership Circle. She also chairs the Department of Communication Advisory Board and serves on the Foundation Board of her alma mater, Appalachian State University.
Kathryn previously served on the boards of the Hornets’ Nest Girl Scout Council, the Bridge Jobs Program, the Children’s Law Center and Appalachian State University’s Loyalty Fund. She also served as worldwide president of IPREX, an international organization of independent public relations firms.
